The Research Directorate of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana, UCC Chapter (GRASAG-UCC), is established to provide dedicated support and guidance to postgraduate students in their research endeavors. Recognizing the critical role of research in academic development and the pursuit of knowledge, the Directorate serves as a resource hub for members, assisting them in selecting relevant research areas and topics, navigating research methodologies, and applying appropriate data analysis techniques. Furthermore, the Directorate works closely with the Executive Council to facilitate research-related seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at enhancing the research capabilities of members. In its commitment to academic excellence, the Directorate also supports members in manuscript preparation, publishing processes, and online thesis submission. The Research Directorate stands as a pillar in fostering scholarly excellence and contributing to the broader goals of GRASAG-UCC. Members will take the following functions:
1. Assists members in choosing research area and topic.
2. Guide members through writing, methodology and recommend the appropriate data analysis procedures for postgraduates.
3. Guide members on how to prepare manuscripts and publish.
4. Liaise with Executive Council to organize research seminars, workshops and conferences to encourage and guide postgraduates’ research.
5. Guide members on how to submit thesis online for assessment.
6. Perform any other duties as the Executive Council may assign.
