GRASAG WELFARE

GRASAG-UCC established this Welfare Policy with the primary objective of ensuring the academic, social, and general welfare of all its members. As an organization dedicated to promoting equality, fraternity, and the overall wellbeing of graduate students, GRASAG-UCC is committed to supporting its members in moments of joy and sorrow. This Welfare Policy serves as a comprehensive framework for providing assistance, fostering unity, and ensuring fairness in welfare-related matters.

Eligibility for GRASAG-UCC Welfare Benefits

According to the GRASAG-UCC Welfare Policy, the following individuals are eligible for welfare benefits:

1. Postgraduate Students: All persons admitted to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) are automatically covered by the Welfare Policy, provided they are recognized as members of GRASAG-UCC.

 

2. Immediate Past Executives: Immediate past Executive Council members, Senate Chairpersons, and Heads of standing committees/commissions of GRASAG-UCC are also eligible for welfare benefits.

3. School of Graduate Studies Officials: The Dean, Vice-Dean, and Deputy Registrar of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at UCC are included under the scope of coverage for welfare benefits.
